Godly Wisdom, Good Conduct, & Gentleness
Reflecting on our volatile culture & godly wisdom-- "Who among you is wise and understanding? By his good conduct he should show that his works are done in the gentleness that comes from wisdom." - James 3:13 (CSB) Note that godly wisdom results in: - Good conduct : Moral actions & words that demonstrate a true love of God & love of neighbor. - Gentleness : "The quality of not being overly impressed by a sense of one’s self-importance, gentleness, humility, courtesy, considerateness, meekness in the older favorable sense"* When we claim wisdom or understanding of something, does it express itself in these two qualities? Whether it is a social media post, words or an attitude toward your family/friends/coworkers, or any other expression--biblical wisdom will result in good conduct and humility.
